Slip Lead & Slip Collar Usage Guidelines
Slip Leads and Collars can be dangerous for your dog if not used correctly.
To ensure correct and effective use, please follow these basic steps.
- Ensure the lead is sat at the base of the head behind the ears, and at the top of the neck.
- Fasten the lead by using the stopper to ensure it doesn't slip down the neck.
- Ensure the sliding loop is always between you and the dog, and that the tail end you're holding goes around the outside of the dog. If the lead is placed on backwards, it will not loosen as efficiently when pressure is released.

We recommend rinsing any muddy leads and allowing to dry between uses. Training leads are not designed to be bitten or chewed and should not be left with a dog unsupervised.

A light weight, sleek and stylish slip lead made for high grade materials. Designed for the competition handler but suitable for all dogs in all situations. Pro Trialler Slip Leads are available in seven colours – Lime Green, Blue, Brown, Yellow, Purple, Red and Green all with a coloured fleck in the material. Complete with new button press sliding stopper and stainless rope thimble, to ensure a smooth glide and reduces friction and wear.
