Caring for your purchase

We recommend rinsing and wiping clean your boots after every use to prolong the life of the shoe. Boots should be cleaned with a boot cleaner periodically and re-waxed on all exposed leather surfaces frequently. For boots with a polyurethane coating, waxing can be carried out at longer intervals. A complete maintenance kit can be purchased here to care for your boots.

Allow boots to dry naturally between uses, excessive heat can cause cracking and damage to the leather surfaces.

If your garment includes a membrane, it is important that you do not add fabric conditioner when washing the garment. The membrane ensures that you are kept dry when wearing it, and that your skin can breathe. If you use fabric conditioner, it will clog the pores in the membrane, and significantly reduce the garment’s breathability. In order to maintain the permeability of the membrane, it is a good idea if the garment is completely dry before it is packed away, and that you do not store it in a very warm or humid environment.
